Logline
Max Punchface is only interested in two things – kicking and punching. His life takes a strange twist when he opens a portal to the peaceful world of Sheepland...
synopsis
Max Punchface loves to punch and kick anything that moves, and many things that don’t. When his fury conjures up a portal into a strange calm world, he can’t help but explore this new non-violent land. However the portal disappears leaving Max trapped in this cute alien land with only some friendly sheep for company/punch practice.
Production notes
Made with the co-operation of Colaiste Dhulaigh College of Further Education in Dublin, Ireland. The short was created in Adobe Photoshop, Animate and AfterFX. It was designed specially to have a retro 1990s beat-em-up video game aesthetic in both the design, art direction and compositing style. Music and sound were provided by Sean Cooley and Aidan, for some reason, did everything else by himself.
